Creating a Melting Pot...

Gambia is a tourist country with visitors from all over the world converging on the country particularly during winter periods in Europe and America. So apart from friends and colleagues from all the nooks and crannies of the world, students also come in contact and mingle with tourists from all over the world, thus truly creating a melting pot.

Admission is a Process...

If you are unhappy that you have missed an admission period due to something beyond your control, do not worry. At CMIT, admission is a continuous process; students have the opportunity of joining in any of the January, May or September trimesters. We do not celebrate admission as an event; to us, admission is a process.

The University in its Environment...

The presence of any university in any community inadvertently transforms the community; new faces, new businesses, new vogues, new ideas, new community responses etc. CMIT brings to its environment a wave of new activities that not only alter the physical state but also uplifts the social, economic and cultural milieu of the environment given a good account of the university in its environment.

The University Permanent Sites...

The University operates from temporary sites in the The Gambia but happily, the development of the permanent site for the Health Sciences heralds a new phase in the development of the university. The Health Sciences center is slated for completion in 2014 while the construction of the permanent site for CMIT is planned to commence in 2014. By 2015, land of The Gambia will be adorned with edifices of the university permanent sites.
